Jon Achenbaum

Jon has 40 years of consumer products executive experience in brand management, marketing and general management at both publicly held multinational companies and with small, private equity-owned businesses. He started his career in market research at Pillsbury before moving into brand management at Quaker Oats, and then spent a combined 25 years in senior marketing and general management roles at Unilever and Bayer. Following these experiences, Jon held CEO roles for three private equity-owned companies, including two Champlain portfolio companies, Freeman Beauty and Master Cutlery.

Jon studied for his MBA at NYU and is a graduate of Skidmore college, where he serves on the Board of trustees.
